Commercial Surface Supplied Air (SSA) Diploma
This is a specifically designed curriculum meeting the requirements of the ADCI Consensus Standards for Commercial Diving and Underwater Operations. It consists of 464 clock hours of instruction required to work in the commercial diving industry as a diver/tender. A high school diploma (or GED), satisfactory completion of a diving physical, proof of open water diver certification, and successful participation in the School’s indoctrination training dive are prerequisites to enrollment in this program.

- Principles of Diving Physics and Formula Application-42 hours
- Diving Injuries and Treatment-74 hours
- Recompression Chamber Operations-40 hours
- Operations Planning and Diving Record Keeping-28 hours
- Lightweight Surface Supplied Diving Operations-148 hours
- Diving Equipment Maintenance-18 hours
- Noxious Gases and Environmental Hazards-14 hours
- Drysuit Diving (Classroom & Practical)-16 hours
- Commercial SCUBA Equipment and Procedures-16 hours
- Introduction to Contaminated Water Diving-4 hours
- Confined Space/Entanglement (Classroom & Practical)-8 hours
- Seamanship and Rigging Fundamentals-24 hours
- Blueprint Reading and Report Writing-8 hours
- Introduction to Underwater Cutting (Burning) -24 hours
Public Safety Diver
Search & Recovery Operations Certificate
This program consists of 80 clock hours of instruction and is a contract training course only . This course will have a prerequisite of a Open Water SCUBA certification from a PADI, NAUI, YMCA or equivalent organization. This course familiarizes public safety organizations with various techniques in surface supplied diving and search and recovery. Courses are tailored to the specific needs of public safety organizations.

- Intro to Surface-Supplied Diving Operations-32 hours
- Search and Recovery Techniques-40 hours
